Meet the Director
Welcome to the 6th annual Entry Points concert! The company is thrilled to a mixed bill performance of powerful movement and cutting-edge artistry with you.
Since its inception, Entry Points has been curated to reflect the breadth of RDC's artistic interests. We dive into each Fall embodying a range of techniques and styles - floorwork, partnering, release-based contemporary, modern, and more. The creative processes are even more varied, drawing on multi-disciplinary skills, improvisation, and collaboration. My curatorial approach deeply fuels us as artists; in turn, I hope you find something that feeds your creative soul in this performance.

This program includes three world premieres by both regional and renowned choreographers: Chicago-based choreographer and 2025 STL CDF Festival Presenter Faith Balderrama, Princess Grace Awardee and Director of the acclaimed NYC group 2nd Best Dance Company, Hannah Garner, and internationally renowned German American duo, Alice Klock and Florian Lochner, together known as FLOCK.

In addition, RDC will share an abridged version of The Head is Not the Star of the Body by returning 2022 RDC Choreographer, Cassie Wang, and the 2024 audience favorite, KAIROS by VIM VIGOR.

For the first time, all nine of RDC's Company Dancers from 2025/26 returned for our 2026/27 Prismatic Season. These dancers share an unprecedented history of trust, collaboration, research, and work-ethic that enabled us to reach that next level of excellence - I'm excited for you to witness the energy I've seen these past few months.
Lastly, this performance reflects one of RDC's key goals in STL - to present dance that is both experimental and virtuosic, thought-provoking and entertaining, creatively expansive and accessible. Each audience member will have a unique experience of each work - and we love that. Whether you find yourself swept up in a storyline, intrigued by an image, excited by music, or mesmerized by movements - I invite you to go along for the ride. Immerse yourself in each dance, allow them to blend with your own truths, and savor the richness of this shared human experience.
