Cleveland Dance Fest

RESILIENCE is going on tour to Cleveland, OH to present Encantados (2024) by Victoria Lynn Awkward! Ohio friends - you can also catch let's go look at the moon, the sun no longer shines by Company Artist Josiah Gundersen there too!

Seen: STL

Seen: STL is a semi-annual event hosted by RDC that showcases works-in-progress by local, independent dance artists. The goal of Seen is to create space for artistic vulnerability - there are no rules, no budgets, no time requirements, and no genre restrictions. Artists are simply encouraged to share and be seen. Submissions open six - eight weeks prior to the performance.

Speak Easy - Move Loud

New! Join the dancers of RESILIENCE Dance Company and the incredible singers of Continuum Vocal Ensemble for an unforgettable collaborative concert​!

Exploring ideas of resistance, cultural upheaval, identity and belonging through music and movement, Speak Easy - Move Loud will transport audiences to the 1920s with themes that still resonate in today's world.

Company Auditions

RDC plans to audition dancers for the 2026/27 Season - more details will be announced in December, 2025. Generally, RDC is looking for dancers who are excited to work collaboratively in contemporary, modern, and improvisational dance. Professional experience, strong partnering skills, and college degree or equivalent training preferred. â€‹

Spring Concert

RDC is thrilled to present an original, double-bill performance featuring new work by Emily Haussler in collaboration with RESILIENCE Dance Company and Hot Crowd, a Chicago-based modern company. Both works will premiere in St. Louis, then go on tour for a second performance series in Chicago!​

Summer 2026

St. Louis Contemporary Dance Festival

The St. Louis Contemporary Dance Festival returns for a third year! Presented by RESILIENCE Dance Company, the Festival features local, regional, and national choreographers who create bold, boundary-pushing contemporary dance. Stay tuned for Choreographer Submissions, which will open in December, 2025.

SIUE Summer Intensive

RESILIENCE Dance Company is kicking off our season with a guest teaching residency at SIUE! Classes throughout the week will culminate in a performance featuring both the students and the company.
