Soraya Cohen (she/her) was born and raised in Ames, IA where she trained at Performance Dance Centre under the direction of Shelby Droste. She went on to attend the University of Iowa to pursue a BFA in Dance alongside a BA in International Studies and a minor in French. Throughout her studies, she’s had the pleasure of performing in works by Aaron Samuel Davis, Martha Graham, Duane Lee Holland Jr., Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa, Stephanie Miracle, Melinda Jean Myers, and Snack Break Movement Arts. She is thrilled to be joining Resilience Dance Company for their 2025-26 Season!
