Liza Heeler (she/her) grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri where she trained at The Dance Arts Center. She then moved to Muncie, Indiana and just completed her BFA in Dance at Ball State University. During her time there, she focused on choreography, improvisation, modern, and jazz dance. Her works have been presented around the country at many dance festivals including Cleveland Dance Festival, Koresh Dance Showcase, Oakland Dance Festival, and A Modern Night at the Gem. She is so excited to be joining Resilience Dance Company as an apprentice this season and can’t wait to immerse herself in the St. Louis dance community.
