RESILIENCE Dance Company is holding open auditions for the 2024/25 season! We have 1 - 2 Company Dancer positions available. Read below for more details, and complete the required pre-registration form no later than Friday, March 1st.

St. Louis Academy of Dance - 9656 Olive Blvd, Olivette, MO 63132
There is no cost to attend the audition
RDC does not make cuts during the in-person audition. The day will run like a workshop will all auditionees participating in each section. There will be several breaks throughout the day - please bring water bottles, snacks & lunch.

Schedule:
8:45am: Check in & Warm Up
9:30am - 12pm: Technique
Contemporary Ballet Barre
Modern Center
Across the Floor Skills
Contemporary Modern Combo
12pm - 12:30pm: Repertory
12:30 - 1:15pm: Lunch
1:15 - 2pm: Improvisation
2pm - 5pm: Group Work
Partnering
Creative Process with the Company

**Depending on the number of total participants, we may divide into two groups for the afternoon portion (2pm - 3:30pm; 3:30pm - 5pm). If we do not divide into groups, the audition will end earlier than 5pm.
Employment Details:
​
Rates: $15 - $16/hr*, W2 Employment
Rehearsal Schedule: Mon-Th 9am - 1pm*
24/25 Season: Aug 5th - May 31st*
Breaks: 1 week off each for Fall, Thanksgiving, Spring
3 weeks off Winter
Resources and Healthcare: Free access to regular physical therapy, group mental health therapy, and massage therapy; Individual mental health counseling twice a month for a $15/session copay
Performances & Opportunities: 2-3 mainstage performance series & 3-6 community performances per season
Opportunities to choreograph, teach, and tour

Who Should Audition:
​
We're looking for confident dancers with distinct and developed artistic voices, who are excited to work collaboratively in modern, contemporary, and improvisational dance. Professional experience, strong partnering skills, and college degree or equivalent training preferred.
​
Not in the market for a job, but want to experience a professional audition? You are more than welcome to register and take part in the audition, and can opt in for feedback. Please indicate this on your pre-registration form. Note that you must still be 18+.
