Josiah Gundersen grew up in the city of Olympia, Washington where he began his dance training at Studio West Dance Academy. Four years ago he moved to St. Louis to attend Webster University and to become a modern dance major. Since graduating in May 2019 from University, Josiah lived in France for two months as part as a language exchange program before moving back to St. Louis to work as a freelance dance artist. He is currently entering his second season as a company member with RESILIENCE Dance Company, and has recently worked with Emily Duggins as a freelance artist, as well as helped teach at Webster Groves High school and performed in an aerial work by Monica Newsam.
